• Reservations - Are NOT accepted. Passengers should be the the pick-up location at least 10 minutes prior to the departure time on the schedule.
• Photo ID - Will be required for passengers traveling with an adult ticket. Children under the age of 17 with no photo ID must be accompanied by an adult with a photo ID upon purchasing ticket.
• Schedules - Every effort will be made to operate according to published schedules. Circumstances sometimes develop beyond our control and accordingly Dartmouth Coach cannot hold itself responsible for errors in timetables, inconvenience or damage resulting from delayed coaches. Connections are not guaranteed and schedules are subject to change without notice.
• Smoking - Is not allowed on Dartmouth Coach.
• Objectionable Persons - Dartmouth Coach reserves the right to refuse transportation to any person under the influence of intoxicating beverages or drugs or who is unable to take care of themselves or to any person whose conduct is such or likely to be such as to make them objectionable to other passengers. Shoes and shirts required.
• Children's Fares - KIDS RIDE FREE! One child under the age of 15 (14 and under) may ride free when accompanied by a full paying adult passenger. Any other children in the party will travel at the child's rate.
• Unaccompanied Children - Children 8-11 years old may travel alone only under the following conditions: the origin agency must be open at the departure time and the destination agency must be open at the arrival time. There will be no pick-ups or drop-offs at flag stops. Trips must not exceed 5 hours and must be made during daylight hours. Transfers at not permitted. Parent or legal guardian must sign the "Unaccompanied Child Form" which releases Dartmouth Coach from any responsibility. An adult must drop-off and be waiting to meet the child upon arrival. The adult at the destination must provide a photo I.D. showing that they are the person identified on the "Unaccompanied Child Form" before the child is released. The child must pay the full adult fare.
• Baggage Liability - $250 Per full fare ticket, $125 per half fare ticket. Dartmouth Coach is not liable for loss or damage of luggage delivered to our employees for transportation, in our baggage compartment, in an amount exceeding the aforementioned limits. Passengers are allowed two (2) pieces of luggage and one (1) carry-on per full fare ticket.
• Baggage Limit - During peak travel periods, passengers will be limited to two (2) bags and one (1) carry-on per full fare ticket and one (1) bag and one (1) carry-on per half fare (child) ticket.
• Heavy Luggage Policy - Drivers and ticket agents are not required to lift/load luggage weighing in excess of 50lbs. See a ticket agent to weigh your luggage before boarding the bus. Please let the ticket agent know if you will need special assistance.
• Cell Phone Policy - Dartmouth Coach discourages the use of cellular phones on all of its motor coaches with the exception of those situations where either a quick message or circumstances beyond our control delays the arrival time of a passenger for a meeting or travel connection. Dartmouth Coach requests that the use of cellular phones be limited to the aforementioned thus according respect and courtesy to your fellow passengers.
• Animals - No animal may be carried except a "service animal" accompanying a legally blind, deaf or disabled person.
• Bicycles - Must be disassembled and boxed. There will be an additional charge. Bicycles subject to space availability and loaded after all other luggage.
• Holidays - Dartmouth Coach does operate service on Christmas Day click here for details. Service will run all other holidays.
• Safety & Security - For everyone's safety, Dartmouth Coach passengers may be subject to wanding. Baggage and carry-on items may be opened for inspection.
